Niskayuna High School

Niskayuna school suffered from a data breach incident after a thief stole the laptop that exposed the personal information of 945 students.

The compromised information including names, dates of birth, and addresses were on the computer for over 600 current students and 300 former students.

Despite the amount of risk, the district wrote letters to the families whose information was on the computer because they took the situation seriously.
