The Newfound Area School District is now recuperating from a cyber incident that occurred on November 2023, which was categorised as a ransomware assault due to the fact that it locked out users without posing a payment demand.

Five schools' computers as well as the central office's computer became infected with the ransomware after it broke into the system via a laptop.
