National Presto Industries

National Presto Industries, a home appliance and ammunition manufacturer, experienced a breach by the InterLock ransomware group. The attack resulted in the exfiltration of nearly 450,000 folders containing nearly three million files, affecting its subsidiary National Defense Corporation and other owned companies. Despite restoration claims by National Defense Corporation, InterLock asserts encryption of these entities' systems and an unsuccessful extortion attempt due to underestimation of the incident's impact by the firm.
