Nashotah House

The village of Nashotah suffered from ransomware attack in December 2017.

The compromised information includes citizens names and driver's license numbers, and possibly their addresses.

Social Security numbers and other sensitive information was not compromised.

The village paid a $2,000 ransom to an unknown hacker to unlock its computer system after a cyberattack that exposed the personal information of some citizens.
