MyFitnessPal

MyFitnessPal, the fitness company suffered a data breach incident that affected about 150 million users.

The breach affected information including usernames, email addresses, and hashed passwords; the majority with the hashing function called bcrypt used to secure passwords.

The company immediately took steps to determine the nature and scope of the issue and alerted the MyFitnessPal community of the incident.
