Mt. Diablo Unified School District suffered from a data breach incident due to caching problem with HomeLink.
The following information was accidentally made available for one hour: address, home phone numbers, immunisation records, necessary medications, medical history, grades, class schedules, test scores, parent email addresses, attendance, and transcripts.
The problem happened as a result of a software malfunction that was outside the District's control when HomeLink was being used as Eagle Soft and Microsoft had planned.
