Mount Kenya University

Hackers had accessed data from Mount Kenya University, Thika, Kenya after the institute fell for a cyberattack.

The data which included admission lists, course registration details, and personal data of students and staff were shared in some exclusive hacker forums.

The records of Mount Kenya University's 211,373 students both past and present, from admission lists to student and administrative information, were left uncovered which led to a cyberattack.
