Mevion Medical Systems

The Maine Office of the Attorney General reported that Mevion Medical Systems experienced a data breach potentially involving unauthorized access to sensitive personal information, including Social Security numbers and health insurance information, on March 28-29, 2021. The breach was discovered on April 8, 2021, and affected approximately 730 individuals, of which 8 were Maine residents. Written notification was issued to affected individuals on June 17, 2021.
