Members Trust of the Southwest Federal Credit Union

The Maine Office of the Attorney General reported that Members Trust of the Southwest Federal Credit Union experienced an external system breach (hacking) involving unauthorized access to an email account. The breach occurred between September 28, 2022, and October 4, 2022. A total of 7,076 individuals were affected, with their financial account numbers being compromised. Identity theft protection services were offered for one year through Experian IdentityWorks Credit 3B.
