Newfoundland and Labrador's Memorial University suffered a data breach incident after personal information of about 15,000 students were shared with other students in an inadvertent data breach.
The breach was a result of an email campaign that leaked details including names, email addresses, student numbers and programs of study.
MUN apologized for the breach and immediately contacted the affected students.
