The compromised data includes names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, financial account details, medical records, and healthcare provider information—posing severe risks for identity theft and financial fraud. Upon discovery, Melcher & Prescott Insurance initiated an internal investigation, engaged a cybersecurity firm, and notified law enforcement.
