Med Associates

A cyber attack on Albany-based Med Associates has breached the patient records of more than 270,000 patients.

The information like addresses, dates of service, medical data, and insurance identification numbers were compromised in the attack that can be used by hackers for medical fraud.

All the impacted patients are being offered a year of free credit monitoring.
