Medisys Health Group and its affiliate Copeman Healthcare were targeted in a ransomware attack in September 2020.

The attack compromised the personal information including ages, addresses, social insurance numbers, and other data of about 60,000 clients.

The firm agreed to pay the ransom to the hackers to delete the stolen information from them.
