Meath School

A Co Meath school suffered a security data breach, which resulted in unauthorized access to a video lesson for second-year students.

A number of online classes have been disrupted by shouting out inappropriately, changing their names to inappropriate ones, and dropping their video so as to annotate the screen disrespectfully”.

The principal asked students not to share access codes for the Zoom video conferencing platform with anyone and added “unless otherwise informed, the camera must be turned on with the full name and their live image on the screen”.
