Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center

The administrative computer systems of Maayanei HaYeshua Medical Center, located in the Tel Aviv suburb of Bnei Brak, were targeted by unknown hackers.

Tel Aviv-area medical center rejects patients from the emergency rooms, and outpatient clinics as administrative systems damaged by overnight hacking.

Patients with scheduled appointments for outpatient clinics and elective procedures, as well as those who want to be treated in the emergency room, are asked not to come to the hospital.

Yoram HaCohen, director of the Israel Internet Association (ISOC-IL), told the media that it is time for Israel to invest more effort in protecting healthcare systems from cyber attacks.
