Maryland Hospital Association

A large ransomware attack has caused network failures and interruptions at Atlantic General Hospital in Maryland.

Patients have experienced "minimal" interruptions due to the continued outages while professionals continue to run their practises during downtime.

With the exception of its pharmacy, outpatient imaging, and pulmonary function tests, the hospital is still providing patient care with all of its remaining services.

The walk-in outpatient lab "remains closed indefinitely.
