Marriott Ownership Resorts (d/b/a Marriott Vacation Club International) suffered a data breach incident after it learned that the timeshare maintenance fee payment slips were lost in the transit to Marriott’s corporate offices.
The payment slips included timeshare owners’ names, addresses, full credit card numbers and card expiration dates.
