Macmillan

Publishing giant Macmillan fell victim to a ransomware attack which forced it to shut down its network and offices while recovering from a security incident.

The attack involved the encryption of certain files on our network after which agents and clients that they have lost access to their systems, emails, and files.

The company shut down all of its IT systems to prevent the spread of the attack and investigated the incident and restored the systems.
