Louisiana Public Facilities Authority

Louisiana Public Facilities Authority (LPFA) was targeted in a ransomware attack by unknown persons.

The attacker gained access to personally identifiable information of some of its customers, including customer names and banking financial data as well as employee personal information such as social security numbers, addresses, dates of birth, driver’s license numbers, emails, passwords, and wage information.

The authorities investigated the incident with the State of Louisiana entities and the U.S. federal level.
