Lisbon Cruise Port Lda

The website for the Port of Lisbon, Portugal’s busiest and one of the most used ports across all of Europe was down days after it was targeted in a cyber attack by the LockBit ransomware group.

But the incident did not compromise operational activity, just its website became unresponsive.

However, the LockBit ransomware group launched the attack against the port, claiming to have stolen financial reports, audits, budgets, contracts, ship logs and other information about cargo and crews.

The gang also gave the port time until January 18 to comply with ransom demands, threatening to leak the stolen data.
