LCBO

The largest retailer of alcoholic beverages in the nation, the Canadian Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO), disclosed the Magecart attack.

Threat actors broke into the website of the Canadian Liquor Control Board of Ontario and introduced malicious code that was used to collect credit card information from customers as they checked out their orders.

Customers may have had their information stolen if they made payments on the business website between January 5, 2023, and January 10, 2023.

Names, email addresses, postal addresses, Aeroplan numbers, LCBO.com account passwords, and credit card details are among the exposed data.
