Lawrence General Hospital

Lawrence General Hospital filed a notice of data breach with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights after learning that confidential patient information that had been entrusted to the company was leaked following a cybersecurity event.

Consumers' protected health information was accessed unlawfully as a result of the event, according to the company's official submission with the HHS-OCR.

Lawrence General started notifying the 76,371 people affected by the current data security incident with data breach notification letters after confirming that customer data had been exposed.

As a result of the recent data security incident, Lawrence General Hospital mailed data breach notifications to every person whose information was exposed.
