A hacker acquired teachers’ personal information, including their Social Security numbers, after it breached the Lawrence Public Schools’ online database.
The breach was a result of the phishing attack directed at Lawrence Public Schools.
The school launched an investigation into the incident and offered a free 90-day service that provides credit and identity fraud protection to all the impacted employees and adopted protective measures to prevent any such incidents in the future.
