LanguageLine Solutions Discloses 2025 Data Breach Affecting Financial and Personal Information
LanguageLine Solutions, the world’s largest provider of language access services, reported a data breach involving a third-party platform, Interpreter Intelligence, which occurred in late 2025. The company first learned of the incident on February 23, 2026, and began notifying affected individuals on March 24, 2026, with a disclosure filed with the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation the following day.
The breach stemmed from unauthorized access to the Interpreter Intelligence platform used to support LanguageLine’s interpretation services on or around December 29, 2025. The third-party operator of the platform delayed notifying LanguageLine for nearly two months. Exposed data included names and financial account information, though the total number of affected individuals across the U.S. remains undisclosed. At least three Massachusetts residents were impacted.
In response, LanguageLine Solutions is offering complimentary credit monitoring and identity protection services through Cyberscout, with enrollment available for 90 days via a unique code provided in notification letters. The company has also established a dedicated assistance line and provided contact details for affected individuals.
The incident highlights risks associated with third-party data handling and delayed breach notifications.
