Kwik Trip has given an update regarding the IT system outage that has been affecting the business for almost two weeks.
Although the corporation acknowledged that there was a cybersecurity incident, it states that there is no proof that any consumer credit card information was compromised.
Purchases could not be made by visitors using the Kwik Trip card.
Kwik Trip stated that there were multiple affected areas.
Kwik Trip stated that its communication infrastructure, production facilities, and loyalty programme are all located in La Crosse, where the company maintains its headquarters.
