The Koch Brothers Group declared that some of its businesses had recently been the focus of a cyberattack; as a result, some of its servers were encrypted and unauthorised access was gained.

The supplier of sustainable engineering solutions claims that it is difficult to determine the full scope of the cyberattack's impact on the organisation and its activities, even though the ongoing investigation shows that the situation has been contained.

The company that was placed on the Catalist said that it acted quickly to address the problem, unplugging the impacted servers from the network and limiting additional unauthorised access to its IT system.

To evaluate, address, and handle the situation, the group has also enlisted the assistance of outside legal counsel and incident response specialists.
