A file containing the 2020 W-2 Wage and Tax Statement information for all city employees was accidentally shared with (another city employee) by a city of Kent employee.
In an email sent from one employee to another, full names, addresses, salary information, and Social Security numbers were disclosed.
They investigated the incident and removed the email from the city’s system and the employee's.
