Jekyll
A recent ransomware assault may have exposed certain people's data, and Jekyll Island Authority has notified those people.
According to a post on JIA's website providing an update on the assault, the hackers might have gained access to data impacting more than 7,000 people and businesses who do business with the authority.
JIA provided notifications to those who it thought might have had their protected health information compromised.
JIA will offer Norton LifeLock's free credit monitoring service to anybody who might be impacted as a precaution.
