Jakks Pacific

JAKKS Pacific, Inc.,a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of toys and consumer products suffered a double lock by two ransomware groups.

Both Hive and ALPHV (BlackCat) ransomware group locked up their data and the two groups agreed on one price they would split if JAKKS paid: $5 million.

However, Hive started leaking data they had infiltrated to their leak site.

The data potentially included personal information (including names, emails, addresses, taxpayer identification numbers, and banking information of affected individuals and businesses).
