Jackson County ISD

Jackson County Intermediate School District suffered a ransomware incident after which it had to take its network systems offline.

The system outage impacted a wide range of building operations including but not limited to heating, telephones and classroom technology.

The district engaged an external cybersecurity adviser to assist in the safe restoration of systems and to investigate the incident.
