Iran Rail Industries Development Company

On July 2021, hackers carried out a cyberattack against Iran's railroad system by publishing phoney delays or cancellations on station display boards.

According to the Associated Press, it was not immediately clear if the most recent reported attack caused any interruptions in Iran's computer and internet infrastructure or if it was Iran's cyber operations targeting the United States following the most recent event in that country.

Iran has already cut off the majority of its infrastructure from the internet as a result of the Stuxnet computer worm, which Iran believes to be the result of US-Israeli cooperation.
