IPG Photonics

U.S. developer of fiber lasers IPG Photonics was targeted bythe RansomExx ransomware group.

The attack shut down its IT systems worldwide and affected email, phones, and network connectivity in the offices and disrupted its operations.

The attackers even left a ransom note and threaten them not to contact the police.
