When her husband got an envelope from Interior Health containing someone else's medical records, a Shuswap woman was shocked.
Johnston explained that her husband needed to complete some paperwork and had been awaiting a referral from a doctor.
It appears that someone took another person's file and attached it to the cover letter for my husband, the woman remarked.
Adding that the documents, which looked like they were mailed out by the Salmon Arm Health Medical Centre, reveal what ought to be extremely private information regarding the patient's health.
