Institute of Open and Distance E-learning Moi University

The Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL), was targeted by the cyberattack that impacted on the examination server.

Nearly 9,000 IDOL students were due to take their third-year Bachelor of Commerce and Arts exams, but more than 90% were unable to access the exam link.

The exam for the day was postponed in a statement from IDOL. Additionally, they have postponed the scheduled tests as a result of the issue with the exam server.

Exam administrators claimed that a technical issue was to blame for the error in a statement they issued on.
