Instituto Agrario Dominicano

The Dominican Republic's Instituto Agrario Dominicano suffered a Quantum ransomware attack on August 18th that encrypted multiple services and workstations throughout the government agency.

The attack affected four physical servers and eight virtual servers and asked for more than 600 thousand dollars to recover them.

The threat actors stole over 1TB of data and threatened to release it if IAD did not pay a ransom publicly.
