Instron

The Maine Office of the Attorney General reported that Instron experienced an external system breach (hacking) on August 18, 2023. The breach affected a total of 1,059 individuals, including 10 residents from Maine, and involved compromised Social Security Numbers. Notification letters were sent on December 21, 2023, and complimentary identity theft protection services were offered for 24 months.
