Innovative Scientific Solutions LLC Reports Data Breach Affecting Nearly 200 Individuals
Innovative Scientific Solutions LLC, a Greenville, South Carolina-based defense and space industry contractor, has disclosed a data breach involving unauthorized access to its network. The incident, which exposed sensitive personal and health information, affected 192 Massachusetts residents and three New Hampshire residents, with notifications sent beginning April 7, 2026.
The breach was discovered on March 31, 2026, after an investigation revealed that an unauthorized third party had accessed the company’s systems on or around September 6, 2025. Forensic analysis confirmed that files containing personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI) were potentially exfiltrated. Exposed data included full names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, health insurance details, medical histories, treatment records, prescription information, and contact numbers.
In response, Innovative Scientific Solutions is providing affected individuals particularly those whose Social Security numbers were compromised with a complimentary Experian IdentityWorks Credit 3B membership, which includes identity restoration support and $1 million in identity theft insurance. The company has also established a dedicated response line for inquiries, available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern Time.
The breach was reported to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation and the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office. Further details on the incident’s scope and remediation efforts remain under review.
