Illinois Department of Corrections suffered a data breach incident that resulted in the data breach of more than 1,000 employees.

The leaked data included names, ranks, salaries, job duties, and Social Security numbers.

IDOC investigated the incident and reviewed its internal policies and procedures to ensure a similar incident does not occur in the future.
