The board officials of Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board received a note delivered through photocopiers at its main office and a number of schools that the board's computer and phone systems here hacked.
The school apparently sent the students home early and remained off for the next day as the board worked to resolve the cyberattack, which targeted its computer and phone systems.
However, the school did not confirm if a ransom or any other demands were delivered to the school board through communication.
