HRSD

Hampton Roads Sanitation District was attacked with ransomware in November 2020.

The attack forced HRSD to shut down the affected information systems to contain the attack.

The services like mail accounts, HRSD Customer Call Center, customer self-service, iSupplier, and recruitment services on the website were affected by the attack.

Until all servers were restored and secured, HRSD went completely offline however the services were restored in December 2020.
