Howard Memorial Hospital (“HMH”) suffered a data breach on its website after an unauthorized party stole patient information from the hospital’s computer network during a cyberattack.
The incident rexposed information like current and former employees' full names, contact information, date of birth, Social Security number, and direct deposit bank account information.
HMH began sending out data breach notification letters to all individuals after the consumer data was leaked.
