Home Care Providers of Texas (HCPT) experienced a data security incident.
The attack impacted more than 124,000 individuals.
HCPT discovered on June 29, 2022, that a portion of its network had been impacted by a cyberattack.
The hacker encrypted and removed some files from HCPT’s network between June 15 and June 29.
The breach involved names, dates of birth, addresses, Social Security numbers, and medication information, as well as treatment and diagnosis information.
