Hawaiian Eye Center (HEC)

Hawaiian Eye Center (HEC) suffered a cyberattack in early November 2022 after one of its servers was unresponsive.

The files that were potentially accessed by an unauthorized party potentially included names, email addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, addresses, medical records, driver’s license numbers, and health insurance providers and numbers.

The HEC quickly shut down and secured the network and notified the impacted individuals.
