The Maine Attorney General's Office reported that Hardin, Kundla, McKeon & Poletto, P.C. experienced a data breach involving unauthorized acquisition of personal information, discovered on March 31, 2025, with the breach occurring in January 2024. A total of 12,063 individuals were affected, including eight Maine residents who were notified on May 29, 2025. Identity theft protection services were offered for 12 months through Cyberscout.
