Hanover

An extortionate Trojan from the group infected the networks of the Hanover Chamber of Crafts at all four locations as well as the fully owned subsidiary Projekt- und Servicegesellschaft.

The contingency plan for IT emergencies went into force after the malware's entry point was identified. We have taken every precaution to keep both internal and external systems secure.

In particular, all computers have been turned off and all network connections have been severed.

Data from employees, correspondence and data exchange with member companies and their staff, including trainees, as well as with funding sources and service suppliers, were notably impacted by the attack.
