Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc.

The Maine Office of the Attorney General reported that Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc. experienced a data breach due to unauthorized computer code on its ecommerce website, discovered on February 4, 2021. The breach, which allowed unauthorized access to payment information between December 18, 2020, and February 4, 2021, affected 6,262 individuals, including 33 residents of Maine. Notification letters were mailed starting on April 9, 2021.
