A cyberattack has targeted Graf von Westphalen, or GvW.
A few of the law firm's IT systems were momentarily unavailable. Email correspondence was not feasible.
This was communicated by GvW to the appropriate authorities at the State Criminal Police Office and to Thomas Fuchs, Hamburg's Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
As part of the forensic investigations, the law firm pledged to notify the impacted parties right once if there were any signs of unauthorised data access.
