Guadalupe County suffered a data security incident that affected various agencies in the county.
As soon as the county became aware of a network disruption impacting operations, it immediately started working on determining the extent of the incident along with a special team of forensic specialists and worked to prevent further exposure.
The issue started when county email services were not functioning properly, so the department made aware the seniors of the issues and tried to resolve them.
