GSS

GSS, the Spanish and Latin America division of Covisian, one of Europe’s largest customer care and call center providers, suffered a ransomware attack that froze a large part of its IT systems and crippled call centres across its Spanish-speaking customer base.

GSS took down all internal systems affected by the attack earlier and alternatively used Google-based systems as an alternative.

They even said None of the applications will be working until the incident is resolved.

Vodafone Spain, the MasMovil ISP, Madrid’s water supply company, television stations, and many private businesses, were the services that were affected by the incident.
