A cyber assault occurred at the Grimme agricultural machinery factory located in Damme. OM-Online approached press spokesperson Jürgen Feld to confirm this, and he did.
Luckily, the company's internal IT team caught wind of the attack rather quickly, so it should escape unscathed.
Feld claims that due to safety concerns, all systems are presently off and being thoroughly inspected.
The Grimme Group is globally networked, thus the cyberattack poses a significant issue.
